A super fun & relaxed rustic farm wedding in Warwickshire, finished off with the one hell of an Ibiza style party.
IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I’D PHOTOGRAPHED A WEDDING AT SWALLOWS NEST BARN. IT’S SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MODERN CONVERTED BARN/FAMR VENUE HIDDEN IN THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE, JUST OUTSIDE STRATFORD UPON AVON. MARK & JENNA STARTED OFF WITH A GORGEOUS RELAXED CEREMONY AND MEAL IN THE BARN AND ENDED BY THROWING ONE HELL OF AN IBIZA THEMED PARTY (MARK IS A DJ AND THEY BOTH LOVE TO PARTY!).
Jenna and Mark got married in the lovely old barn before serving their guests with copious amounts of fizz and Aperol Spritz out in the sunny courtyard. The vibe was fun, relaxed and full of laughter. The volume levels from everyone when cheering Mark and Jenna in to be seated for dinner, confirmed this was going to be anything but a calm day. It definitely wins the award for the loudest greeting ever… more feet stomping whistling and hollering that I’ve EVER heard.
The day was jam-packed full of love, laughter, mischief and a wild party. Topped off with Andy Sax, an amazing sax player who played along to the Ibiza house tunes.

The venue
Sitting in Warwickshire, just outside Stratford upon Avon, Swallows Nest Barn is a farm venue that combines a beautiful 19th Century converted barn with a stylish glazed annexe, walled courtyard and outdoor space. It’s set in a gorgeous farmland valley and is SUPER beautiful.
The Ceremony
Mark & Jenna got married in the lovely old part of the barn. Mark was greeted by their 4 flower girls/page boys holding signs that made up the sentence “Are you ready Uncle Mark?” before seeing his beautiful bride walk up the aisle wearing a stunning ballgown by Martina Liana. And wow she looked every bit THE most gorgeous bride.
The reception
Confetti, fizz and Aperol spritz, canapes, laughs and the limbo followed the ceremony on the sunny courtyard outside. As I snuck around catching the moments and action all I could hear was fun, laughter and mischief.
Everyone was seated for dinner and started off by greeting Mark & Jenna with the most almighty cheers I’ve ever heard! Jenna had lovingly made all of the table centre pieces which were named and themed after their favourite drinks – such a fun, cool idea. Kids ate Pizza, blew bubbles and made glow sticks into headpieces whilst the grown-ups tried to drink through ridiculous mouthpieces… all very civilised really!
The party
The party was just EPIC! DJ Andy Saunders rocked the night with a whole host of Ibiza dance tunes. The dance floor was packed with people throwing wild shapes whilst clinging onto their LED light-up balloons.
Guys wore Indian headdresses, pink feather boas and bare chests. And Andy Sax played his saxophone to the melodies of the house tunes (a-la Ibiza superclubs).
It’s safe to say I didn’t want to leave.
