I don’t just photograph weddings, I also love spending time with families and children, shooting them messing around and being fun, crazy kids.
… If you go down to the woods today you’re in for a big surprise face full of leaves!!
So now that the crazy fun summer season is done and dusted what is a wedding photographer to do with herself? With the Warwickshire countryside throwing up this beaut of an autumn vibe, what better thing to turn my lens to than a woodland adventure snapping these little corkers?
Liz England; mum of JJ and Charlie, runs the fab and bustling “Fit2Dance” dance school in Leamington Spa. All out of ideas for the usual Christmas presents, she decided it would be cool to get some fun shots of the kids in their gorgeous farmland. So, at the weekend I spent a chilly afternoon on a farm best know for its Christmas turkeys (that’s a whole other story!) catching fun memories of this pair ready for family Christmas gifts.
JJ is a gymnast and dancer and had no hesitation showing off all of her awesome tricks; cartwheeling to her heart’s content.
Meanwhile cheeky Charlie, the typical boy, just wanted to make sure he threw as many leaves on his big sis (and me) as possible!
The lucky pair have an EPIC adventure play wood at the farm, complete with rope swing over a stinky swamp, pirates bridge and full on 10-year-old’s-dream tree house. It seems having a builder for a dad comes in quite handy in the woods!!
The kids also loved showing me their vegetable garden complete with homemade his and hers scarecrows … too cute!
And last but not least, there’s nothing quite like a duck’s bottom to get children (and their photographer) giggling!
Thanks guys – what a fantastically fun filled afternoon.
