This intimate winter wedding at Blackwell Grange was just gorgeous, it snowed the morning of the wedding, and when I arrived there was still a little snow on the hills that the venue is nestled into. I loved being a part of and photographing Lyndsey & Gareth’s day. The rustic Cotswolds venue perfectly combined a very beautiful old thatched barn with a contemporary reception space, and the toasty warm fire they got married in front of just topped off the gorgeous cosy vibe of the day.

The Details:
Lyndsey and Gareth hand made so many lovely bits and bobs for their styling. Combined with some gorgeous rich red roses and winter tones florals the cosy vibe of their day was super personal. They served boozy hot chocolate to all of their guests to warm them up after being outside briefly (it was minus 1 that day!).
The Photos:
Lyndsey & Gareth floated through their day. They wanted natural, colourful, relaxed wedding photos. They didn’t spend too much time posing for the camera, but having a set of lovely couple shots was really important to them, so we took a few opportunities throughout the day to make time for these. HUGE creds to them for coming out in the minus 1 degree temperatures to do a few photos with the beautiful purple skies at sunset!
