This rustic but vibrant gay wedding at Shustoke Barn in Coalville was such a dreamy day. I can’t tell you how much I loved photographing and filming it. The beautiful rustic barn provided the perfect luxe backdrop, dripping in gorgeous florals and combined with a modern countryside twist. James & Bernardo filled it with cocktails, laughter and Brazillain energy & party vibes.

The Details:
James & Bernardo held a beautiful and personal wedding ceremony in the main barn at Shustoke. It was conducted by official registrars, but it happened that the registrar was a close friend of the couple, so it felt extra personal.
As Bernardo is Brazillian, the guests were a multilingual bunch, so a friend of Bernardo acted as translator. They even said their vows in 2 different languages!
For the reception, the barn styling was simple but luxe. Gorgeous white and gold floral accents helped to soften and showcase the beautiful old architecture of the barn. They ate the most incredible food, drank all the cocktails, and partied the night away. The Brazilians danced from the minute they got there, and the vibes were high (I actually didn’t want to leave as they were so good).

James & Bernardo wanted classy, relaxed, bright & colourful wedding photos that captured the day’s energy. They spent very little time posing for the camera, instead using it to have fun with their favourite people. Any couples photos that we took were achieved in no more than 15 minutes in total.
